New: How to Hatch Box Turtle Eggs

herbs1Welcome to the Garden Page of the Ornate Bird Garden.  I’m mainly interested in herb gardening and container gardening.  I live in the American high desert so we have a long growing season, but problems with drought.

Unfortunately, in my town, people insist on maintaining huge Midwestern-style lawns, which seems grossly irresponsible to me.  That’s one of the reasons why I like herb gardening:  herbs don’t require a lot of water (with the exception of mint!).
